Sound Exchange opened its doors in North Tampa in November of 1987 and in Brandon, a suburb just east of Tampa, in February 1992.  Our store in Pinellas Park opened in 2001 to give everyone in the Tampa Bay region a location that is within a short driving distance.   By combining excellent service with a broad selection of music at competitive prices, we have gained a very loyal customer base in the Tampa Bay area and from around the world.

At Sound Exchange, we deal in new and used CDs, DVDs, and records; both albums and 45s. Our selection of music spans from African to Zydeco.  Because we buy, sell, and trade used product, many unusual and out-of-print items come into our stores. Vinyl collectors have a good time digging through our record bins looking for treasures as well.  

Our customers appreciate the level of music knowledge that our staff possesses. Among the employees are musicians, DJs, and others who are passionate about music and movies. Our wide variety of tastes ensures that someone will be here that understand your needs.
