Sound Exchange purchases used entertainment media, such as CDs, records, and DVDs. We pay CASH or can offer STORE CREDIT which is 10% MORE than the cash amount. You can combine cash and store credit, or use store credit over time, in any combination that you like. Example: You might be offered $20 cash for your merchandise, or you could take a store credit of $22, and use it immediately or use it over time. Also, a partial cash and store credit might allow you to take some cash and some store credit.
IMPORTANT: Florida State law now requires a photo ID whenever customers sell product to the store and receive CASH back. Taking value as ‘store credit’ does not require any identification. Typical Pay Ranges for Used Merchandise: Customer ‘supply and demand’ determines our buying and selling prices. CDs - A range of $1 to $5 is offered for most CDs. Exceptions can occur on both ends of that range. DVDs - A range of $1.00 to $7.00 is typically offered. Certain high-end DVDs and box sets can bring a little or a lot more. LPs - A range of $.25 to $2.00 is offered on LPs that we can use. Certain "collectible" titles can command a higher price. In order for Sound Exchange to make an offer on your LPs, they must be in excellent condition, be titles that our customers want to buy, and currently not be overstocked. 45rpm records with paper sleeves are generally $.25 each or more.
